I became a client/patient of Corinne Furnari in 2004 after three different doctors had been unable to explain why I was becoming increasingly tired, although I looked like I was in perfect health. By the time I finally walked into Corinne’s office, I felt I had become a walking zombie. She very quickly diagnosed the underlying imbalance, set about correcting it and in the process taught me how to achieve the proper nutritional, exercise and supplement regimen for me, as an individual. She thinks outside the box, is tuned into a wide variety of integrative medicine techniques, does not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to diagnosis or prescriptions, and is adamant that the key to good health is knowledge about one’s body. I learned more from her about my body, health and nutrition than I had in the prior 30 years from all my health care providers combined. I cannot thank her enough for bringing me back to health and for teaching me so much. In addition to reading, writing and arithmetic, schools should teach what Corinne knows about health. I continue to recommend her to both women and men.

I’m a 39 year old with old (approximately 20 years) injuries to my knees include strains to MCL in both knees, complete ACL tear in right knee with allograft repair, 80% tear in right ACL with surgical tightening, and early stage osteoarthritis with degenerative cartilage pitting in both knees diagnosed through an MRI.
After constant pain and swelling surfaced around the 10 year mark, the prognosis from my Orthopedic was: eventual knee replacement(s) after the joints deteriorate to an extreme point. Suggested protocol was to take prescription-strength ibuprofen for pain and swelling, weight reduction, and to wait until a knee replacement was needed.
Over the past 10 years, both knees have experienced lengthy intermittent periods of pain (up to 3-4 months at a time) where walking, stairs, and kneeling become difficult. Swelling was constant to the point that the definition in the edges of the kneecap and patellar tendon has not been visible for the last several years. At times stairs were almost impossible to descend and constant compensation was necessary by other leg muscles to allow the leg to bend enough to navigate the stairs. This was a big challenge just to take the subway to and from work each day. If was extremely difficult for either knee to track in a straight line.
After recommendation of my personal trainer to try prolozone, I am now approximately on my 6th treatment. The first 1-2 treatments created a soreness in both knees that I handed experienced in years. I felt similar to a fresh injury. After the 2nd injection, it was apparent the swelling had slightly gone down. After the third injection, the swelling had reduced more and the range of motion had increased enough so that my right knee began to shift.
After injections 4-6, the swelling reduced enough to see the kneecap and tendon in the right knee and range of motion increased so that both knees were almost equal.
Other than the soreness during the first few weeks, there has been no pain. I didn’t have much hope that my knees would ever feel better. Pleasantly after only a handful of prolozone treatments, my knees move and feel better now than they have in years!

Corinne Furnari is unique in my experience with health care professionals. When you walk into her office and talk with her for even a few minutes, I predict, you’ll realize, she’s not in this for the money. She loves her work and because she loves her work, she has developed an incredible competence and she gladly shares that with her patients. If your experience is anything like mine, you’ll count yourself extremely fortunate to have her care for you.

Dear Ms. Furnari:
Every day I am truly grateful to you for all the things you have done for me.
I am grateful for the weight loss, which I have maintained within 2-3 lbs.
I am also thankful for the most detailed and extensive lab tests you requested.
They were the most detailed lab tests I have ever had.
I am still working on losing at least another 25-35 lbs.
When I met you, I was going through a very stressful period. Fortunately, my energy and my concentration levels are improving enabling me to take computer classes and piano lessons.
